Islamic Perspective Journal

I am currently the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Islamic Perspective. IPJ is published by the Institute for Critical Social Theory (formerly published by the London Academy of Iranian Studies) and is a bi-annual, multidisciplinary, and peer-reviewed journal, covering all issues concerning Islam and Muslims. If you would like to submit an essay for consideration to the journal, please do so by emailing me at dustinjbyrd@gmail.com. Please write “Islamic Perspective” in the subject line and include (1) your C.V., and (2) the essay for consideration.

UPDATE: In 2024, the journal Islamic Perspective will be transitioning into Critical Perspectives. It will continue to be the official journal of the Institute for Critical Social Theory, but will be broader in scope. We continue to invite critical scholars or religion, Islam, and the Islamic world to contribute to the new journal and its success.
