I am currently the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Critical Perspectives. CP is published by the Institute for Critical Social Theory (formerly published by the London Academy of Iranian Studies) and is a bi-annual, multidisciplinary, and peer-reviewed journal, established to forward critical theory (broadly construed). If you would like to submit an essay for consideration to the journal, please do so by emailing me at dustinjbyrd@criticalsocialtheory.com. Please write “Critical Perspectives” in the subject line and include (1) your C.V., and (2) the essay for consideration.

Before I became the Editor-in-Chief of Critical Perspectives, I was the Editor-in-Chief of Islamic Perspective, which was published by the London Academy of Iranian Studies. Between 2023-2025, Islamic Perspective transitioned to Critical Perspectives to accommodate the broadening subjects that our authors wished to explore.
